7" LCD Head End Unit
I have a RX450h and would like to replace the 7" LCD unit with one that can display more than 10-12 characters. does anyone know if that can be done and how to do it. Just bought the car and love it, but would like to have more characters displayed. Do the new RX's have a better head end unit and can they be put in place of the one original one.

I don't think this is possible. Even you could replace the current display with a higher resolution display, the electronics and software that drive the display would also need to be enhanced.
