Hello everyone!
I tried to start my car with the remote key by pressing the the unlock button 3 times and hold on it on the third time. It does not work at all.

Can someone tell me what is the problem?

Just a guess but try changing the fob battery if old.
If that doesn't work it may be a remote start unit issue.

Try holding the fob right next to the Start button. All fobs are designed to hold little power to work when it's held right up against the Push to start button. If the vehicle starts then for sure you know you have a working fob, just need to replace the battery.

Obvious question, but do you know for sure you have remote start installed on the RX? Also, if you do have it equipped, it's three presses of the lock button that activates the remote start, not the unlock button.
