2010 rx 450h power source/led bar
hello I need to tap to a 12v power source in the engine bay ,,, for a led bar installation,,,,the battery itself is located in the back, I don't want to run wires to the back so any help is appreciated,

Yes that is a good power source. You can use any metal bolt or hole for the ground connection.

No. Just install 2 fuses in the Fuse adaptor and cut off the fuse holder on the LED harness .
Install One fuse to protect the existing circuit and one fuse to protect the new harness circuit.
Be careful to make sure that you plug the adaptor harness positioned properly so that the output wire is fused. To check it you should not have power at the output with fuse removed but you should have power with fuse installed. If you have power at the output without a fuse installed, plug the adaptor in opposite way to correct.
