Default Checking before buying Chamberlin garage door opener from Costco

I am thinking of buying a Chamberlin Whisper drive 3/4 HP garage door opener from Costco - Item #749020. Costco has not listed a model number but one of the reviews says it is WD962MLEV. Here is the web page for it.

Before spending $300 on this item, I want to check with the community here if they have used this unit using their vehicle's built-in homelink remote. I have a 2013 Lexus RX350. After buying a high end opener like this one, I do not want to pay more for buying a repeater or other items to make it work.

Thank you for taking the time to comment.

Thanks for the suggestion. Chamberlain support replied to me by email as follows:

"The vehicle list I have that was provided by the vehicle manufactures says your vehicle should program in with out a problem. However we have seen situations where the version of Homelink our list shows differs from the actual version that was installed in the vehicle."

Keeping my fingers crossed that the version of homelink in my 2013 RX350 is indeed the version that was supposed to have been installed.

I installed a new Chamberlain WD962MLEV in July. It programed into my HomeLink in minutes. I own a 2014 RX350. BTW, this is a really nice opener w/battery back-up. For anyone in the market give this model a look. I love it and it is really quiet.

So you didn't need any special repeater/adapter? Good to know.
