Buying RX 350
I am thinking about trading my 04 rx330 for a 2011 rx350 . My 04 has 150000 miles on it and doesn't need any repairs . New struts and tires just a few months ago , very clean car . The RX350 is black on black 2 owner car . Body and interior are almost spotless even before the dealer details it . 74000 miles, no navigation , and needs tires . Dealer wants 22950.00 .They said they would give me 9000.00 for my 04 . What do you guys think about an 11 with 74000 miles and is not certified . My wife doesn't think we need a newer car ,I wanted to trade it while its still worth pretty good money. I do like the way the rx350 drives .

A 3RX is a nice step up from the RX330 (330) in particular.
Miles seem about right for a vehicle turning 5YRS old. IDK what the cut off is for CPO, but you can always add an extended warranty.

Tires are about $1,000 including the necessary alignment.
I think you can find one with a lot less miles and fewer owners for about the same price. I would keep looking. Try hunting on www.cars.com using the advanced search feature to select specific options, also set your geographic distance that you are willing to travel from your area to look. I have found a few cars that way.

If you do decide to buy it, ask for the dealer to include a free transmission flush as part of the deal. They usually cost about $300 and it is good preventive maintenance at this mileage considering you appear to keep vehicles a long time.
You can log on here and enter the VIN to see what of the service history has been done by Lexus dealers and what has been done and when. Just enter the VIN as if you are the owner. It will have more of the service history than Carfax or Autocheck.
