2015 RX Lease rate....good or bad?
I'm in the market to leasing a new 2015 RX350 AWD. Invoice price, according to Edmunds, is $48,270.00. I would like to hear from the experts or those who lease regularly to share their opinions if the rate I am given is a good deal or not. Attach is the calculation from the dealer. Do you think I can do better, since the 2016s are coming. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to get $2000 under invoice. And you should be able to match the following offer, you do the math.
2015RX350
$399mo.36mos.
$2,499due at signing.
Excludes official fees, taxes and dealer charges. No security deposit required. 10,000 mile/year limit.
*Available on approved credit to very well qualified customers through Lexus Financial Services and participating Lexus dealers on a new 2015 RX 350. Not all customers will qualify. Offer based on MSRP of $46,138 including delivery, processing and handling. Monthly payment may vary depending on final price of vehicle & your qualifications. You pay $0.25 per mile over 10,000 per year. See dealer for vehicle and lease program details. Must take delivery by 9/30/2015. This offer is available in CA, NV, AZ, NM, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, AK.

I emailed quite a few Lexus dealers within a 600 mile radius and got various offers. The best offer that I got was the following and I took it:
MSRP: $51,888
Sale price: $45,700 before T/T/L (including $1500 Lexus incentive)
Down payment: $1,876
Refundable security deposit at end of lease: $4,050 (paid up front along with down payment)
Length/miles: 36 months/ 30k miles
Monthly payment: $435
Don't know if it's competitive compared to what others have gotten but I think I got a decent deal.

Sale price looks ok.
It seems like you have to pay ~$1400 tax in your state + ~$588 for the Lic/Doc fee. So you down payment looks ok too.
See if you can negotiate to put in $0 security deposit if you have decent credit score.

Of the $2198 downpayment, did that include the Lexus $1500 lease incentive? Not sure if you got a good deal or not but your monthly payment is pretty high. Did you even negotiate the selling price?

Since I am confused with your paperwork what is your monthly payment and mileage restriction?

Your total payment $23679 is little bit high (even $2029 is from rebate). Residual value $30908 (58%) seems low for a $53400 car. I remember RX350 residual should be around 60%.
Are you doing 12k miles lease or even 15k miles lease?
Rent Charge is $2126 (money factor is about 0.0007), this is the money bank make from you, just like interest they charge (0.0007*2400=1.68%). One of the most important numbers to look at when lease a car. 0.0007 is decent, but you can do better.
