Default Mileage bar graph goes away with cruise control

I have a 2015 RX350 with NAV. Is there away to stop cruise control from eliminating the mileage bar graph every time it is engaged?

Not to stop it but you can scroll down to whaterer you want in the display after you engage cruise control.

This is what I do. I just set the cruise then arrow up or down to the view I want to select.

I also noticed whatever was in the display (current MPG usually in my case) went away when cruise control was activated. I never thought about scrolling through the options. Thanks the the tip!

I do this too. Just don't see why setting the cruise has to wipe out the mileage information.

It doesn't "wipe out" the mileage info, it only causes the display to go blank except to say the cruise control is "Set".

I would have preferred it to default to the last setting when activating the cruise. It is a nuisance and distraction to have to reset this every time Cruse is reengaged. I normally leave it displaying MPG after refueling. Basically it takes only one tap to restore but that is one too many.

Isn't there a green icon of some sort when the cruise control is on? If so, then it's not as if we don't know the cruise control is on and we need it to take over the other window.

It's one of those silly things that just don't make sense. Whatever. I do the same thing with scrolling as well.
The display area sure could use a better implementation. My STi has a vertical color display and it is very useful. I have it displaying my speed in digits and I even stopped looking at the actual speedo. Kind of like HUD, but without all the complexity and extra cost. Cruise has its own 2 dedicated icons on the display, as well as the set cruise speed. No functions go blank with the cruise engagement.

Our ES300h has Lane Detect, when you turn it on it takes over the Driver Information Center
Tapping the Disp will briefly display the MPG screen(s) but seconds later, back to converging lines.
Wife dislikes getting "caught" lane changing wo/signaling so alway shuts it off...and ignores MPG info!
