Default Sun Visor light not working

2014 RX 350 F Sport Passenger side sun visor light not working properly. Have ordered visor 4 times in as many months from dealer and still no visor. Parts department says there are none to be had on their computer. Problem verified by SA at my dealer a month ago. Called Sewell in Texas today and none show up to be had on their computers either.

Called corporate customer service today and they’ll have someone contact me in 2 days.

They must have one somewhere as they are building new RX 350’s in Canada and Japan with
these sun visors.

On our 2013 RX 350 it was a driver's visor that had light not working. Was ordered by the dealer last year and was replaced under warranty. Took about 2-3 weeks for the part to arrive, as I recall. Faulty visor light is common enough problem, it appears, based on my quick check over various car forums.

Dealer called today and the sun visor is in.

Not only is the part in................. Lexus dealer is sending Lexus Roadside to my home today to replace said sun visor (80 mile round trip).
Kudos to Lexus Customer Service and Lexus Of Tampabay! End of story.

We can tell you're excited, so no need to bump just a few hours later with no new info.

I'm glad Lexus has come through with the part you needed in pretty short order, and your dealer appears to be providing great service with a home repair appointment! That's super! Enjoy that RX!

Default Sun visor

Hello!
I recently bought a 2013 rx and the light for the sun visor isn’t working. I have read it’s a common problem. I did change the bulb and no luck. I think it’s the sensor in the mirror covering. I would like to buy a new sun visor. (Obviously not used as this is a common problem) I’m having a hard time finding a new light grey one that isn’t a couple hundred dollars. I see the Toyota Highlander one looks exactly like the Lexus one. I was wondering if anyone knew if they are the same.

Go to a used car lot and measure the Highlander visor before buying one.

You can usually find both right and left sides in gray and beige on Ebay for about $50 used.(or less).
If you are out of warranty..dealers will steal you blind.
