Default should i trade in my 2015 rx 350 f sport for new GX?

I bought it for my wife few months ago. I traded in my big chevy diesel truck i never used. She likes the size and the ride. I miss my lifted truck. I think i can put offroad tires on the GX and have the best of both worlds.

Based on what you wrote^^ here is where I think you may have a problem..

Since your wife was the one who originally talked you into getting rid of your bigger truck. And you bought the F-Sport for her (so I assume she is the primary driver) I have a feeling that she may not be too willing to give up HER F-Sport.. Especially if she's happy with it.

Good luck, but IMO your may have an up hill battle on your hands..

I have talked to a lot of people that have owned a GX, and never found anyone that didn't love it. If they didn't have it anymore, they wish they did. I spent months talking my son (who has a Lexus phobia) into looking at one, and he loved it, too. He'll buy a 2015 when they come out. For my wife and me with no kids at home, the RX is close to perfect. It's a great size, extremely comfortable to drive, less expensive than the GX (and the truck), and the best road trip car I've ever driven.

If it were me (I love new cars!), I would remember that I'm in a win/win situation. I would let my wife keep her car (still new, saves money, happy wife=BIG win), and get the GX in a year or 2 (another new car. Win). Maybe keep the RX after buying the GX and keep everyone happy (huge win)! It's only money, right?

I may look into a marriage counseling career!

Well, if she likes Lexus and an even more imposing spindle grill, I don't see why she couldn't like the GX!

The wife decided she is not giving up the RX i tried using the more room excuse and she threw in how the more gasoline she would be wasting rebuttal plus that she loved the size of the RX. I had just boughten her a 2014 IS350 fsport and i guess the RX was what she wanted all along. I get to drive the IS now so i guess we are both happy.

I had a feeling your wife wouldn't want to give up her F-Sport. I said that in my previous post because I know my wife wouldn't want to give up her F-Sport either.. Enjoy the IS
