Increase the volume of the door lock buzzer sound?
Is there a way to increase the volume of the buzz sound when locking the door with the remote? It has been bothering me for a while. Every time I lock the door with a remote as I am walking away from the car, I need to listen very carefully for the almost inaudible buzz sound so I am sure the door is locked. I searched in the settings but didn't find where it can be changed.
BTW, it is a 2014 RX350.

My RX is set to fold its mirrors, so it is easy to see from a distance when it is locked. Typically, I would use the door handle to lock the car, so not much of an issue.
Have you tried adjusting "Operation buzzer volume":

Our RX350 is set to MAX volume and I still find it to be on the quiet side.
We also have the mirrors fold in on locking and use the dimple on the door handle 99% of the time to lock the RX. Nice visual indication the car is locked.

I have set it to have the mirrors fold too. But the whole idea is to walk away like a boss without looking back and without standing by the door and wait for other passengers to close the doors, isn't it?
I will try if I can find this setting. Thanks.

i love those visual confirmation.
maybe you should just hire a chauffeur.
you won't even have to think about opening/closing those doors.

Is #11 the feature you're attempting to alter? http://www.lexus.com/pdf/service/RX_with_nav_LPS.pdf
I just purchased my first RX350 (2012) a week ago and have been perusing the manual to discover how to make the doors automatically lock when the key fob (the driver) walks away from the vehicle; i.e. once vehicle can no longer detect key fob then door locks engage.
Does anyone know if this feature is possible?

Often asked about and even wished for, but alas, not a Lexus feature.
