Default Where to store user manuals package

The "folder" that holds the various user manual, etc. is rather thick. It does not fit in the glove box, or at least not very easily.

Where do many of you store this user manual package?

There is an area to store your manuals in the center console bin, often referred to on here as "the secret bin" or "the hidden compartment".

I put mine under the rear cargo carpeted area near the spare tire.

Perfect place. In fact I went looking for the manual one day and forgot they were hidden away there.

Laundry basket in back with pillow, blanket, roll of paper towels, roll of TP, box of Kleenex, jumper cables, gloves, & various items of junk, etc.

Oh, and COSTCO thermal bag for frozen stuff bought there, carried on the road, etc.

Default Owners Manuals

If you go to Lexus Drivers web page. You can download a PDF copy of your manuals.

http://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/home

This will give you a search feature you don't have with the paper manuals.

At that web page, I can't seem to find the entire manual in one PDF file. Can you point me to it?

I store mine at home on top of my desk because I refer to it frequently.
I find the "black hole to Borneo" under the console too awkward.

I suggested to Lexus that they provide the RX Manuals on a complimentary Mini iPad in lieu of the over 1000 pages of printed material, much of which does not pertain to the specific model that I purchased. That way, Lexus could only download specific info that pertains to the specific model purchased and specific equipment loaded on that car, i.e. if not equipped with Navigation, then leave the Navigation info out of the info ipad. I can imagine that this would not be much more expensive for Lexus and much more comfortable for the user and easily updated by Lexus if needed. No response received. I store my bundle of manuals in the cargo compartment.

Lexus must have changed the format for the newer models. You will just need to down load them all.

I had called earlier about a download of the complete 2014 RX450h manual and was told there was no such thing. However she offered to send me an entire extra manual for free (which now sits on my kitchen counter) while the other is in the secret compartment. You didn't hear it from me

If you go online to the Lexus web site and login into your My Lexus account you can order up an additional Owner's Manual free of charge. This is nothing new. They have been doing this for years. I ordered up a second set a long time ago to keep in the home office.
