Just to make everyone aware - the 3-day rule is dependent upon state law.
Some states (e.g. CA) DO NOT have such a rule.
If you have any question, you need to do a search on the state law in the state that you are acquiring the car in.

That is nice to know. I used to live in Texas so I know she can use the three-day rule to change her mind.

Your Beautiful Beast is shining so pretty!!! Congratulations.
As for dinner our friends took us to a nice Japanese restaurant in Clear Lake City.Good food. Seafood at Kemah is always a winner (missing Texas).

Hoosiers, I recommend reading the article titled "Confessions of a Car Salesman" on the edmunds.com website. Very useful information though a long read. Its written by an employee of Edmunds who went undercover as a car salesman. He points out the tricks that salesmen use on car buyers. Good luck with your purchase

Making customers wait is a sales tactic as it plays the consumer against themselves. you want to get out of there so badly, they hope you get exhausted, sloppy and will sign anything

Good for you Sandy!! That is how it should be!
Well...My car didn't make it in again today, to everyones surprise. So I spent time going over details, getting finance paperwork filled out and pre-approved... didn't sign anything and won't until I see and drive the car.
Listened to extended warranty, paint/fabric protection, dent protection, KEY protection, wheel and tire protection...yada yada. They want answer tomorrow on those items. In my mind I was thinking no,no,no,no, and no. And really, at this point I was just killing time waiting to see if the car would come before they closed.
Best part of the afternoon was sitting in an RX350 with "technology lady" getting shown all the bells and whistles. Man that is one sweeeeet vehicle!
