After 3 hrs in the dealership, I realized the additional $500 wasn't going to happen without me walking out and trying another couple dealerships. Time is money so I settled on the deal below...

2015 RX 350 F Sport
Options - Navigation, Blindspot, Parking Assist
MSRP - $52,675
Negotiated Price - $49,000
Dealer fees: $385

In August, they also had 0.9% financing for up to 5 years which is as good as it gets.

Hope this helps someone else...
Congrats! Which dealership? (I just got mine last week too…barely squeaked in on time with the 0.9%!)

Default 11% off MSRP too ambitious?

Looking to purchase the RX 350 AWD with appearance and other "usual" packages Oct/Nov.

Has anyone tried the costco auto program? It claims to have a no haggle price, but I wonder if it's a good price. I'm in Austin, and it seems like negotiating is a bit tougher here than Houston and Dallas since there's only one lexus dealership.

Just did this on 9/20 at the Park Place Lexus up in Plano, TX and got a new 2015 RX350 FWD* for $45,156.45.

They started off with the MSRP price of $49,799 and, through the Costco auto program, shaved off $4,023 immediately. We added in tinting ($195), which gave us a final number of $49,799 - $4,023 + $195 = $45,971. We told them we would buy the car that very day if they could make it an even $45,000 (an additional $971 off). Unfortunately, because the Costco discount was already so "large", they said they couldn't go below that value...however, because Carmax had offered me $3,500 for my 2005 Toyota Corolla, they played the ol' "funny money" game and basically added $971 to the trade-in value, making it $3,500 + $971 = $4,471 for the trade-in, which ultimately got us to the $45,000 mark before trade-in. Including the trade-in value, we were now at $41,500.

After adding in the Tire and Wheel package ($700) and some additional schmoozing, we ended up at $45,156.45 after TTL with financing for 5 years @ 1.9%. We ended up putting some money down and financed $40,000, with our monthly payments being around $700.

Turned around a few days later and used the 50% up to $200 off accessories coupon Costco gives you after you purchase a car (and take a quick survey) and added body side moldings and the all-weather cargo mat for a total out of pocket of $177 (they ended up giving us the full $200 off instead of just 50%).

Moral of the story: Costco Auto Program rocks (at least I think so), and I highly recommend it!

*Optional equipment:
- Comfort Pkg: Xenon HID Headlamps, LED Foglamps, Rain-sensing wipers/Heated & Ventilated Fr Seats
- DVD Premium Audio with Navigation
- 19" Aluminum Alloy Wheels with All-Season Tires
- Navigational System with Voice Command etc.
- Intuitive Parking Assist
- Premium Package w/ Blind Spot Monitor System
- Towing Prep Package
- Wood & Leather Trimmed Steering Wheel & Shift ****
- Cargo Mat, Cargo Net, Wheel Lock, and Key Glove

Sorry for the novel!

Thanks for the novel, it was an exciting read! It looks like they started with 8% off of MSRP, which is a great deal.

Does anyone know if you have to pay for the Premium Package in addition to Luxury Package? I.e. If I add the "Luxury Package w/Bamboo Interior for $6,035", do I also need to add the "Premium Package w/Blind Spot Monitor System" for $2,760? In other words, is the options cost $6,035 or $8,795?

Best,
Eric

I ended up going through the costco auto program as well. It sounds like they didn't quite knock off as much as they did for you, at least I don't think, but I did walk out of there with my 450h with nav, most options, BSM, parking assist etc for MSRP including TTL. I was happy enough with the transaction considering it was hassle free.

I didn't know about that coupon. If that's the case, I should wait to buy my all weather mat for the trunk

For the RX 350 the Lux package ($4950) has everything the Premium has so you shouldn't need to add both.

We just brought a new 2015 RX350 home. This is our first lexus and we still have a lot to learn about all the nice features. But I am sure I will get lots of good tips and advice from this wonderful forum.

The pricing looks very similar to the post just above this (maybe the same dealership in NJ?). I also got 1.59% financing for 63 months from the dealer.

in San Francisco, sales tax 8.75%, TTL might be 4000+;
the sales price is about $10K off MSRP.
how could you get that?!

Thanks to this tread, I just sealed the deal on 2015 F-sport. Its the limited edition "Crafted Line".
MSRP: 54060
INVOICE:51826
PAID: 48500
RATE: 0.9%
The car also comes with two pieces of luggage and the two tone interior. They only made 1500 of these limited edition models, so every dealer was trying to get top dollar for them. Thanks again.
