Default Help Deciding

It's time to trade in my 2010 RX 350 and I'm having a hard time deciding what I want.
I love Lexus but I really hate the Remote Touch so Ive been reserching other small SUVs.
Anybody have any suggestions? I haven't driven anything but a Lexus for 12 years and I am very nervous thinking of owening any other car.
My Husband drives a new GX and it certainly is a pleasure to drive but I need something a bit
smaller for day to day driving.

Why give up what you have? Lease? Would you be looking to go smaller than the RX? Perhaps you can wait for more information on the NX to see how it will be configured.

Really no reason ( Not a lease) I just wanted a new car Maybe wait & see what comes up next is the best way to go.
I still love the way the RX looks but the RT is so awkward.

Take a look at the Toyota RAV4 LTD. It's sort of a mini RX. You can get just about all the same bells and whistles on it as in the RX. It was redesigned in 2013. It gets great gas mileage,

I own one !

Tesla Model X comes out later this year. that's an option. Not sure what your budget is but it can be had at a base model price of around 65-75k

The Tesla X won't come out until 2015 with a waiting list of over 8,000 and counting. Price is still not set yet either. It's supposed to be as big as the S so that would make it too big. I was just at one of their stores a few weeks ago.

sandy14, I'm in the same boat because I certainly don't need the space but like the looks of the RX and don't want to give up the Lexus luxury I'm accustomed to. The NX will be announced this Friday. It might be a viable replacement like RX330inFL suggested. There's been a lot of positive buzz.

Are you set on owning an SUV? Otherwise, GS would be a great car to own.

Sandy14, the new Lexus NX looks like a 7/8th's RX. Personally I love the style and will be seriously considering this vehicle when my RX lease comes up in a few months since it's just the right size (for me), about Acura RDX / RAV4 - sized.

It will have the new RT interface, essentially a touch screen replacing the mouse-like controller to improve the interface and control.

Like RX330inFL mentioned, you can follow the official NX thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car...ml#post8478783

And the official high-res pictures and (expected) specs will be unveiled in that thread tonight 8PM PDT/11PM EST.

Only catch, you'll have to wait for the Fall time frame for this vehicle, the anticipated release date. If you can wait 6 more months, it will be well worth it as you can count on Lexus reliability, refinement, and good fuel economy (especially the Hybrid).

Have you driven any of the newer Lexuses with the Gen 2 RTI? The RTI in your RX is really awkward I agree because of the way the enter button is on the side. The newer ones have a haptic touchpad, and an affirmative "push down on the touchpad" to enter. BIG improvement.

The new touchpad in the NX and RC should be even better.

I'm very happy with the RTI in my 4GS.

A little underpowered and less Range Rover.
Go with a Range Rover Sport.

Nice vehicle but too big for what she's asking. At 191 inches, it's 2 inches longer than the GX and 3 more than the RX.
