Hi,

I just saw that there is a Spindle bumper upgrade kit set from Sewell. Did anyone bought and upgraded it?

Some questions:

Any instructions provided?

After mod, is the headlight still AFS and also HID?

Any additional switche to the dashboard? How about any new or reduced functionality after mod?

Most interesting is what are the individual part numbers for the headlamp and bumper.....if we can purchase them separately.

Anyone care to share?

He's still ironing out the AFS error displayed, BUT fellow CL member dxr just completed an F-Sport front install and it's very impressive!

2210 CL price is actually very cheap for an instant upgrade to an outdated vehicles fascia (2010-12). if youre planning to keep the vehicle but yet want the look of the new, this is a very decent priced kit instead of the ugly japanese lip (imo & its close to a grand) that some folks love.

Ok, Information from Sewellparts: "The bumper upgrade includes only the parts listed on the item description. There are no documented installation instructions, but if the installer has some mechanical acumen, the project is not overwhelming. You will use your current headlights and none of their function is compromised. The bumper will come painted according to your vehicle’s paint code. "

One spec I checked, it is not true the 2014 RX 350 took out the AFS. Some region does have them: http://www.lexus.com.sg/en/models/rx...specifications

So what is this headlamp part number for version, can we just replaced them onto the 2010 model?

So this only comes with the f sport appearance package? It also sucks that you can't get it if you have parking assist sensors which I assume most people have.

Wouldn't the bumper have to be custom drilled or something because the newer models have four sensors up front instead of two? I'd love to also have front facing sensors. Would be great if there was a way to hook up two sensors to function as one.
