I'm sure Anita is going to look at these pictures....Anita to officially be called a snow storm is it 4" or 6" deep? Don't these pictures look like a skiff? Maybe it's just early in the storm, but yes an RX goes through that amount of snow pretty easily. Those are some wicked big flakes !!

Don't know what constitutes a storm, David. Dusting would be an inch or two so maybe anything that needs to be plowed? The DC area was hit pretty hard by the same nor'easter I got. You can see the piles of snow in the background of the first picture.

Looking good, dapimpee. Glad you had fun driving the RX in the snow.

dapimpee, I have colleagues from Virginia (Reston area) in town (Toronto) that are stuck here because of flights canceled due to the storm there. They may have a chance tomorrow night... All that snow you got this winter so far I believe has been record-breaking. Good thing the RX can more than take on the challenge!

BTW, nice wheels. What are they? Reminds me of a 19 or 20 inch version of the liquid graphite chrome 18" wheels I had on my '04 RX330 Sport package with the wonderful air height-adjustable air suspension (miss that).

We have like 17 inches and I am like 15 mins from Reston.
BTW, the wheels are TRD , 19 inches, they are made in Japan.

My F sport does great in our Michigan winters as did our 09' RX. Currently we have 2 1/2 feet of snow on the ground. Never spun the tires all winter. Enjoy the RX more so than the Ford F150s 4x4s I owned. This is a picture of a road a few blocks from my house. Plenty of mornings there was a half foot or more of snow and the road was not plowed with around 4 foot drifts. Went right on through...

Another 2014 RX owner here in Michigan. I was surprised at how well the car handles in the snow even on all season tires.

I wonder if there is a car or two buried in those snow banks? You won't find them till spring!
