Offer them 46K and see what happens. I'm sure you can negotiate from there.

[QUOTE=4482;8523291]This does not appear to be a "close out" price being the 2015 RX is out now.
The discount was $2,500 off MSRP plus a $1,500 rebate. I am hesitant to buy from out of state because we would not get the perks from our local Lexus dealer. The local dealer doesn't have any 2014 RX in stock and we are getting impatient waiting.
We may just wait to get a 2015 and pay a little more to get the perks of free car washes etc. from the local dealership.

Hello LexusRose,
Welcome to Lexus University. I have good news for you. The service department doesn't care where you bought your car. It makes no difference. My dealer never said "Thanks for buying it here" or "Why didn't you buy it here?" when you pull up. You probably won't see the sales people either. They will be concentrating on the buyers. You will still get the perks and free car washes even if you buy out of state. However, from reading your post, I think you will be happiest buying a new 2015 locally, with a nice discount. Good luck.

Even the F Sport? Everywhere I've looked they're usually $48k and above (Used), and at times even more.
Nevertheless, thank you, I'll gather some quotes for the new models.

We decided to buy a 2015 RX 350 and found the one we wanted Saturday at our local dealership. We paid a little more for it than the 2014 we where looking at but very happy to buy it locally and thrilled to have a 2015. Thanks for all the help everyone.

Hi, I am a newbie here, first time poster.
So I just got offered $46500 for a 2014 RX 350, with the following. This is OTD price includes 6% MD Tax. I believe it is a very good price, but want to check with you guys first. I haven't mention the $750 military rebate yet. Should I say it now? Will that affect the price?
Intuitive Parking Assis
Navigation System
Premium Package w/Blind Spot Monitor
Comfort Package
Speaker Premium Audio System

I thought I posted this in here, but do no see it, we bought a 2014 RX350 on Easter Sunday (the 2015's were already on the Lot). We got a Starfire Pearl with a Gray interior, 2WD pretty much loaded, MSRP was (approx.) $49.7k and we got it for (approx.) $42.5k. (Both prices before tax & license). And we got 1.99% interest as well (not thru the dealer).
It all about Supply and Location!
When the 2014's run out, the 2015's will be more money and you can't expect to get the same deal in Hawaii that you can in Southern California (which is where I am)...
I am not rich, but the RX is such an awesome ride, I would say, don't stress too much over saving as much as the next guy, just buy and enjoy!...

The MSRP is 49725,
They gave me 5007 discount, that brings it down to 44768. and then there are additional 2250 (1500 + 750 military). rebate. so that brings it down to 42518. After taxes and fees, my otd price is 45747. Just picked up the car an hour ago.

Welcome to Club Lexus, klau25. While you do not state what the sticker price was originally for the vehicle, I would think that price is a bit high based on previous postings here at CL over the last few weeks. The military rebate should not affect the price as that is through Lexus and not the dealership so it does not affect their profits. You should be looking at 10-12% off at the moment. Best to shop around. Use the internet and contact the dealerships in your area, going even further out if possible, about what you are looking for. Send them the package information you posted here.

Haha, thanks. Yeah, I was actually talking to 5 dealerships the last 2 days. went back and forth with them, and everyone else backed off once I finally gave them this offer I got. I waited until the end to reveal my lowest offer to the other dealships to see if I can squeeze a little more out of them. Everyone backed off. The dealership i got the car from did promised me the all weather mats w/ cargo mat. They say they will sent them to me later since it was after hour already. I didn't want to argue since it was already 9:30pm and we were an hour away from home. I will see if they will actually deliver on it. I stressed that I would give them a good review on customer satisfaction if they do that. Also they gave me a 3.14% rate and would not give me the .9% since i got the military discount. I was fine w/ that since I know I can get 1.24% from DCU.
Congrats. Looks like you got a good deal there. The main discount got you to that 10% range I discussed. Their price was lower than their original quote and you got all the appropriate discounts on top of that. Do not think you could have done much better if you tried harder and shopped the deal around.
