Details regarding December to Remember haven't been announced yet but it's probably one of the best times to pick up a leftover. Just remember selection can be limited so you may need to compromise on color or options.

I found this site to have the most current rebate info available when I was shopping for my RX. They seem to have the rebate description off, but you get the idea.

If you are going to look at the 13 leftovers, the 350 has $1,750 bonus cash and 450h is $3,000 or 1.9% financing.

One more thing to consider, the vanilla-flavor 350 has separate Trac and VSC systems, while 350 F-Sport and 450h have VDIM. VDIM is much better execution of both of those, being integrated and tuned as single system.

I did some calculations on this question when shopping for my RX several months back then. It would take eight years to break even on the extra cost of the hybrid so in your case since you tend to keep your car for less than five years, it would not benefit you to buy the hybrid.

My wife and I bought a cpo 350 on Saturday. We can not be happier. We ended with star fire pearl with tan interior. It is the exact car my wife wanted. It has 24k miles and the luxury package. I had never heard of the luxury package. The salesman at Jim falk lexus in Beverly Hills said the luxury packages pretty rare.
Just how rare is the luxury package on the 10-12. We love all the extra's that come with it.

Now on the drive home back to the Bay Area, we took hwy 101 and we average 25mpg. I was happy with that. I noticed on this forum some use 87 but inside the gas door it says premium. Can I get away with 89 and not hurt anything?

Now I need to start looking for a gs F sport for me

Brian, congrats on your new-to-you RX350. I'm glad you're happy with it.

I suggest rather than start another thread on octane again, just do a quick search. There are very lengthy threads on the subject. As you found, opinions are all over the map. I'm one that stays in the camp of "do what the mfgr recommends", but your and other situations may vary.

Enjoy that RX!
