Sunroof/moonroof tilting issue
Hello everyone,
Currently my wife owns the 2011 RX350 and we are having issues with our sunroof making loud mechnical noise when tilting up and down. We have already address the issue with our local Lexus dealer and all they did was lubricate the sunroof and after a month or so the noise comes back. We have tried to address the issue again with them mutilple times and all they can say that it happens to all the RX350.
I was wondering if there is anyone else here that had the same issue and if the issue was addressed and fix by your local dealer.
Thank you

I definitely don't have this issue and i use my sunroof a lot. I would suggest you take it to a different dealership. Seems like your current dealership could care less about your problem.

I'd walk the service manager or tech to the showroom or to of their loaners and have him listen to the operation. It will then be obvious that the noise is or is not different.
I have a similar issue with my driver seat motor which is embarrassingly noisy and it raises and lowers in pitch as it moves the seat to and from the driving position. The dealers loaners don't make that noise so they will need to address it.

I haven't tried speaking to the Service Manager about it so I will try that first and see where it leads.
Thank you
