After being driven nuts from the off and on beeping in he garage of which sounds just like the Lexus, I discovered it was the Verizon FIOS battery . Thanks to someone else of this forum that also found out it was not there vehicle beeping but another device.

Please advise on what to do. I have a 2012 450h and there is a single beep that is occuring every 30 seconds since last night. Could it be my battery?

OMG!! Thank you so much for posting this question. I had the same problem with my Lexus RX 350 beeping every 30 seconds. It was driving me nuts and I couldn’t figure it out so I took it to the dealership. They checked and checked and could not find the problem. Thanks to this article I went back out to my garage and continued to hear the beep even though my car was still at the dealership. 🤔. After a short investigation I discovered the replacement battery on my garage door opener was going bad.

Again thank you so much for posting this question and solving my issue. Now I just have to convince my mechanic I was having a senior moment with a blond moment attached for good measure!😉

Did you find out the cause of the beeping every 30 seconds? My 2016 NX200T just started doing that as well.

Do either of you have any warning lights on?
Second key left inside?
Recently replaced battery or jump start?

(Neither the RX two row or NX will have the incessant chime of
the 3rd row RX and GX when the seat is not fully up or down.)

No warning lights are on, no key left inside and did not recently change or jump start the battery. Wondering if maybe disconnecting the battery and reconnecting will help reset the system, but I have my doubts about it being that easy. Is it likely to be a faulty sensor?

Nothing is obstructing the trunk (it's closed) and the sunroof has not been opened in months.
