Where can I tap in to a "switched" wire and hardwire my Passport radar detector remote mute button?
I have the radar detector just above the rear view mirror, but when it alerts (like it does so often in Chicago and suburbs), reaching up to press the mute button is a pain.

So I got the remote mute button to mount down conveniently by the center console arm rest.
This is not a cigarette lighter power cord but a hard wire, tap-in type.
I'm looking for an easy "switched" wire connect to.
