Been out of town for a week and upon my return last night, there were several packages waiting for me. So, this morning I installed my "Weather tech" rear mat, installed the new Mudguards. The body side moldings will have to wait until this weekend!

It's a bummer because for almost half the year, you wonder why you got a nice car if it looks like any other dirty car... Hard to appreciate. Are you in Washington state in which case you're actually more north than use folks in Toronto (43 N parallel) ?

Thanks for the tips about waterless car washing. I too, noticed that they went in circles after circles with the microfiber. lol

Yup, I am further north than you. When we visit our family in Toronto, it's odd to say that we're heading south, to Canada.

Installed body side moldings today, I'm very happy how they turned out! I wasn't really sure I would like them, but the fear of a serious parking lot door ding on the new ride was bugging me. I've had them for a couple weeks, hemming and hawing about installing them, but decided today was the day. The "Ultra white" color match was spot on!

Found two more secret storage areas on the left and right side of the cargo area.

Talked to the Lexus Technology person at our local dealership who said the only way to
shut up the Nav Lady was to turn the volume down. There is NO mute function.

I spent 15 minutes trying to find the day/night mode control screen of the Nav...circling through the Setup screen, General, Nav, manual, what not...it was the DISP button
I call it totally crazy, user-torturing interface

Put on our new CA License Plates - 7DNSxxx (that should be easy to remember as in Domain Name System). Now we can drive/park at places I was avoiding earlier because dealer plates just scream "NEW CAR !!!". I'd rather blend in myself.

My brother sells waterless car wash in NJ. He says use the cloth in ONE DIRECTION, left to right for example, turn the cloth, then go in one direction again. Do not go in circles on the first swipe, only with the second cloth to bring up the shine. I did this on my 2011 RX matador red, with excellent results, no swirls.
