Looks good, hard to tell from pic but if you're using one the "Plasti-Dip" type products I would say spray the chrome trim. If you don't like it then just peel it off..

I took my car to get detailed and I'm thinking about converting my 3RX to the new face. Does anyone know where I can find the full conversion kit?

It was not today, however I changed out my DRL light bulbs for bright white LED 9006 bulbs and changed the parking lights bulbs out for bright white LED also to freshen up the 2011.

I have the HID lights which looks really good with the white LED parking lights at night and the LED DRL looks like great during the day compared to the yellowish stock DRL bulbs.

I also changed put the fog light bulbs for true yellow Hella H11 bulbs that look very nice at night.

I was going to use LED white bulbs for the fog lights, but yellow fog lights actually work better in the fog and in heavy rain at night.

Looks good. I've been wanting to do this to my RX too. Do you have any front shots?

Thank you.

I do not.

I just took a quick snap shot with car in the garage, my wife likes to park the front close to the wall.

I will take some front pics when it warm up and try to remember to take some daylight shots to show how the DRL look as well.

I can not get the DRl to come on in the garage, only the main headlight/fogs or parking lights alone.

Hi all, new here. I purchased a 2010 RX450h about a week ago and am really happy with it. I was a previous Camry Hybrid owner and needed to get a bigger car because of my 3 growing boys. Today I slapped some 22's on her and what a huge difference it made, not just in appearance, but on the road as well. These are 22x9 SRT8 reps, w/ a satin black finish, bolt pattern (i know i'm going to get grief for this) 5x115 w/ hubcentric rings. Tires 265/35/22.

My previous Camry Hybrid:

Look very nice!!

I am not a fan of black wheels on black cars, never understood the appeal, but I do like the style of wheel and the size which change the appearance of the RX for the better.

I love the Camry too, I used to own a 1999 Camry XLE V6 years ago and drop it with Eibach springs and added some Niche wheels on it.

I always will have soft spot for a customized Camry.

Lexus and Toyota cars are a bit bland in stock form, but are the best looking cars when modded.

Which bulbs did you use? I was thinking of doing something similar although I was debating between LED or something like a SilverStar Ultra for the DRLs (I have them for my main low beams and love the color/light).
Edit: and did you have to use any sort of in line decoder or just drop the bulbs right in?

I used 194 LED bulbs for my parking lights and 9005 LED bulbs for my DRL.

I have the OEM HID headlight option so I do not know if the bulbs sizes will be the same for the halogen setup.

I just installed the bulbs as is and have not gotten a bulb out warning.

I got my bulbs from Amazon.

FYI, the space for the parking bulbs are small so you need to use very short LED bulbs in that location like the 194 bulbs from Amazon I linked.

I tried to use a brighter set of Philips LED 194 bulbs with the metal body and the the bulbs were too tall for the parking lamp space in the RX light housing.

Edit:

Here how the bulbs look in the light housing.

So I ended up getting these LED Parking Light bulbs from vLEDs:

5K WHITE 360° LL 6 LED 194

They were backordered when I placed the order back in Feb at $13/bulb (they're at $15/bulb now FYI) and I finally got them last week and put them in over the weekend. I LOVE the color - super bright white and look great next to the SilverStar Ultras I had previously installed. Now I just need to take care of the DRLs and be good to go. I'll try to get a night pic as well.
