Default Footwell lights

Does the 2013 RX350 footwell lights not illuminate when driving as they did on previous models? I also do not see a light on the interior door handles. Thank you.

You're right on both points. The footwell lights don't illuminate while driving (on older Gen they used to dim down while driving). The amber interior handle lights from previous Gen RX's are also gone as of 2010+ RX's.

Thank you for responding to my post. We had a 2010 RX, you would think I would have remembered that. We also had an 04 and an 07. The present generation RX was a step forward in most directions except such features as we are talking about. The wood is also a step backwards.

Is it possible to alter the OEM footwell lighting in some manner for my 2010 Lexus RX 350 in order to keep them on while operating as in older models?

If you have an Android phone check out the Carista app as it will find what customizations are available on your RX. You have to purchase the bluetooth adapter but not the app to see and email to yourself what can be changed and what the current settings are.

Default Footwell lights

Were you able to change any settings to enable footwell lights with the carista app and adapter?
