Engine Coolant
My engine coolant is running a little low. Of course Toyota has to have their own coolant with their color being marroonish in color. Any issues adding some green coolant, I mean it's just a color right? Coolant is coolant? Thanks guys!

Now I will just wait to see how many people tell me just how wrong I am. Let the games begin.

I disagree completely. Coolant is not just coolant.
Its not uncommon for two different coolant types to form a gel like substance when mixed together. That would do wonders for your cooling system, no doubt.
There are many articles written about this subject, like this one: https://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/28/coolant-color/
Why would you even want to mix coolants? Just get the same stuff (SLLC) from your Toyota or Lexus dealer and be done with it. The SLLC lasts a very long time, so unless you have a very high mileage vehicle, the stuff in the engine might still be OK. If the expansion tank is low, add some distilled water, if you are not ready to change the coolant.

Consider buying the coolant from toyota vs lexus. In some areas the toyota coolant is cheaper than the same product at lexus.
Also they will quote you a price for RED vs PINK
Pink is the same thing as red (except its already diluted)
At my local dealer RED is $26 and pink is $25
If you buy Red you will getting twice as much after dilution.

Wait, be very careful there. Toyota red coolant concentrate is very different to Toyota pink coolant premix.
Toyota Red coolant is an older style coolant used in older design engines, whereas the pink coolant is Toyota's SLLC - super long life coolant, formulated for Toyota and Lexus newer design engines. The pink SLLC is simply not a premix version of the red concentrate - the formulation between these two coolant products is quite different.
As used in the Lexus RX 3rd generation, SLLC is the correct coolant, not Toyota Red coolant.
Here's are a couple of articles I found which describes the differences between the two.
