I finally got around to taking better pics before the thunderstorms started rolling into Chicago!

I got my 2011 RX350 Memorial Day weekend I have been slowly modding all the lights and eventually got the courage to replace my fogs with an HID conversion kit myself. I was really looking to replace the boring stock yellow halogens and match as best as possible with the OEM HID headlights while keeping the brightness. Not knowing much about HID conversion kits I came to the conclusion that I should either go with 4300K or 5000K. After much research and reading tons of posts here on CL I decided to go with the 4300K Philips Xtreme HID conversion kit from Xenondepot. I went with Xenondepot primarily because of the great feedback from many forums and I went with the Philips bulbs because I felt that it was worth the extra loot to get reliable bulbs plus Steve mentioned many times on posts that the color temperature matches best with the OEM bulbs and would reach to 4700K.

Installation:
Installation wasn't terribly difficult since it is pretty much plug and play as advertised. It took me a little bit under 2 hours to get everything installed (I know I'm a n00b). The hardest part was figuring out where to mount the ballast and then mounting the ballasts in place. I didn't take any pictures of the installation because honestly there isn't that much room and I didn't have the patience. I just found places that I could zip tie the ballast to securely and tried to hide and manage all the cables. I went through the top to install the fog lights since I didn't want to bother taking apart the bottom side covers.

Conclusion:
They match with the headlights really really well. They have a slight tint of stock yellow to them but overall pure white. I rather have it that way than to get more blue. Since the fogs are in reflective housing they are super bright! The light scatters (as expected) and some of the light reflects upward. I ended up trying to aim them as low as possible. There were ***** next to the fog light assemblies that I was able to turn with my fingers (I assumed this aimed the fogs). I think it helped a little bit but not much. Thanks to Xenondepot and Steve! djkidkris, the new fogs look great. Big difference from OEM. It sounds like you didn't have a difficult time installing them. Where did you wind up putting the ballasts? They're nice and small. Hopefully it'll be as simple for me.

My pleasure :-) Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together. I'm glad you are happy withe 4300k Xtreme Philips HID kit. Philips bulbs color shift within approximately 100 hours of use meaning that they will reach color temperatures of approximately 4700k once they fully color shift :-)

Can some one tell me what type of bulbs for lexus RX 350 like yours? Is it H11? and did u buys the HID fog lights the same type with HID headlight ( i mean did u buy 2 pairs, 1 for headlight and 1 for fog light? ). Cuz i want to to install mine RX 350 2011 like yours. Thank you.

The HID kit is wayy brighter compared to the stock halogens. I can't really comment on how they fair in the fog since there isn't much fog in chicago in the summer. I'll try to get night shots from in the cabin and some other pics of where I mounted the ballasts for Anita when I get the chance. For me its probably about 70% vanity and 30% function. I was more concerned about matching the headlights than brightness but in the end they measure up in both standards most excellently!

Alan...I got the confort package with my rx so the headlights are oem hids. I only replaced the fog lights with the H11 4300k philips xtreme hid conversion kit from xenondepot. If you didn't get the comfort package you would need 2 kits. I went with 4300k because most oem hid color tempertaures are 4300k. Check xenondepot for sure! I highly recommend their hid kits if you didn't already notice hehe!

The HIDs illuminate the road better based on the 6Ks I had in before. I haven't installed the new kit with 5K yet. That's tomorrow. Fog is a challenge with any light. I live in an area that can get bad. But yeah, I did it more for looks too like djkidkris said, LOL. It's definitely an improvement to me. Three words, no more yellow

Do they alsohave these for high beam? Or is it ony for low beam.

happy, it depends on which headlights you have. For me, high beams are 9005. I switched them out with another halogen bulb from Litech that's a lot brighter, cheaper too.

^I only have the standard headlights. I just wanted to make sure if I decided to change them, I wanted to match the low and high beams along with the fogs.
