Default Auto Tilt Steering Wheel Settings

Has anyone had the dealer switch off the auto tilt steering wheel (so that when you shut the car off it does not tilt up and away)?

My question is if you have the dealer switch that feature off, will the wheel still go to the memory 1 and memory 2 positions?

I can't directly answer your question, but FWIW...
I personally like the tilt steering wheel and drivers seat that moves back, but found the combination impractical for me with my Golden Retriever who rides with me most of the time on the back seat. She jumps into the back where the passenger feet go, then hops up to the seat... Its the way she was trained as a pup. I was having to first manually open the drivers door and then move the seat forward to give her enough room between the back seat each time she needed to jump in, so I turned off the drivers seat movement... It is an option in the settings I could change on my own. I still let the steering wheel do its thing that helps me get out more easily, and my personal problem with my "passenger" was solved. I know that isn't what you were asking about, but if it gives you another option to consider trying first, great.
Good luck!
