Thanks for the repost. The turn signal is almost drowned out and you're not even hitting 70mph. Not normal indeed. Agree with above to escalate or see another dealer and insist on driving another RX if push comes to shove. But to me, it sounds like general road noise vs wind noise. Good luck.

No problem! That is what rang the bell for me too, it used to 70MPH and over but now it starts around 55MPH...

Do you have the crossbars in the roof rack? They are a known source of wind noise.

I just go it back from the shop on a windy day no less. I still get the wind noise. When I place my fingers along the door seal I can still feel the door move in and out. It may not be "AS" bad but it is still defiantly there.

I would have made a u turn right away and demand the service manager sit with me and take ride and ask if he thinks the problem is fixed...

How far away is your Lexus dealership from where you live and/or work/ go to school? So is this your car or your fathers? Do you drive the car daily or does your father or mother? You have talked a few times about dad going in, has he? Someone needs to get the Service Manager and/or General Manager to go on a test drive. If they don't agree with your dad then you go to Lexus Corporate, the manual and related paperwork tell you how to handle problems like this.

you can easily tell if you have laminated windows...look at the top edge of the window with it down. Should see a definite layer effect. My 1st gen 2010 Rx has the "single" layer, but we really do not have noise issues given what else is usually going on in the vehicle. I think someone posted a pic of the newer windows in another post...

here's one...just a diagram. Couldn't find the post with the actual pic.

Register on lexusdrivers.com if you haven't already and check for yourself.
This doesn't show up in my service history and the glass doesn't appear to be double-paned nor show "laminated".

What are my next steps? I don't have the TSB information...will the dealership still cover it?

Also, doesn't this cover the front windshield too? I have a rock chip. =P
