When I see a white lexus on the road, I quite often question myself if it's SP or UW. I could almost be certain when I saw an UW but not so when I see an SP. But when they are next to each other, yes, UW makes SP so pale. I love both colors and used to think UW was too white. I think I like UW more these days.
Lexus did have aurora white available only on the 450h back in 2010. Now that was super bright white. I'll have to check out ultra white next time I'm at the dealer. And I wasn't implying your 450h was dirty and neglected, rayaans. I know you keep it in top shape

Yes, I did see that White when I ordered it. Confusingly, Starfire pearl is called Arctic pearl here and Aurora White is called Starfire pearl here . Aurora wasn't available on the F-Sport if I remember correctly and was somewhat purplish.
Hmm I guess Ive warmed up to Ultra White (F-Sport White here). Its OK but almost looks like a non-metallic colour until you get about 2 feet away from the car. Doesn't shine as well as the Starfire or Eminent White (I love that colour) which is like Starfire Pearl, just whiter and got LOADS of flake in it (and I thought SP had loads already).
Definitely agree that's a great shot, Yurka. Too bad the sky is going to be more grey than blue for a few days. And I just finished detailing the 450h today. Oh well, it happens.
