BTW, I use just a sealant instead of carnuba or spray wax combined with a synthetic wax. Usually that's all you need for 6 months or more of protection. The only downside is it isn't maybe as shiny as carnuba wax. But I think it's more than acceptable for what it offers. The wash mitt glides across the paint. And the water flies off when I use the blower to dry.
Thanks! Matador really pops in the sun!

Yea we've been seeing mid 90's to 110 degree weather, and I know carnuba evaporates the second surface temp exceed 150 I think, Synthetic waxes and sealants are known for longevity and high heat tolerance. But now I know I can just use sealant for almost the same shine! Thanks for the tip!

corrado, it was a pleasure

Your RX-F is sweet and super clean. OCD at its finest, LOL! Funny, we weren't the only RXs in the lot but the two sports certainly stood out.

Its like a brother and sister catchup! The F Sport seems to be more brother-ly.

Im also liking how huge the parking bay is! Where is this, Canada?!

Rayaans, actually in New Jersey, USA. Made a family trip, then met with Anita. Would do it again when the opportunity presents itself and maybe others in the vicinity can join in.

rayaans, I think it's a little far for you but you're more than welcome to come And Urkel (my 450h) might be offended with the insinuation he's on the feminine side, LOL!

How about an old nostalgia pic. Here's my old '01 RX300. I still think it rode better than my current RX350!

That white stuff is why I live in Florida now!

Interesting how we all see them differently. I think of mine as feminine and call her Alexus.

Sandy, I've always thought of the RX as male. The 300 was called Hippo because he really looked like one, especially from behind, LOL! The 330 was named Sporty. Had to do with the performance package. And the 450h is Urkel because he's on the nerdy side

Nostalgia indeed! There's nothing like the first RX, even today. I still see plenty of them on the road too. You got me digging through my old old pictures. A few from my RX family album:

You are so right. I still remember my first RX. I was on top of the world for weeks. I traded in a Buick and never looked back.
Love all their names. Love the photos too. Wish I'd kept some photos of mine. Never really thought of it till I found this blog.
