question is

Do I have to re-program ? need to go deal or locksmith ?

can they or will do re-program ? how much ?

key is amost $100, I just want to make sure I can use it before i buy.

I once asked my salesman if I lost my key it would cost about 400$ from Lexus to e replaced. I lso asked if I bought it online, if Lexus would be able to program it. He said yes.

Ask your dealer/service dept just in case and if so, they will charge you for programming and figure a 1 hr labor charge ($100+). Good luck.

I did the same thing. Go to locksmith. Works fine.

If the numbers are the same the used Smart key can be re-programmed to your vehicle.

The metal key inserted in the used item from eBay will not match your locks.

Where can i find the key codes you listed?

You should find it in the back of the key fob, remove it from the leather pouch (if you have one)...
