The superchrome rims are nice. I love mine. But I'm not sure if they're available in 18"s. You can contact Sewell, one of the CL sponsors, to help you find what you want. Good luck and congrats on your 350.

Do those aftermarket wheels come in the appropriate offset and centerbore? If not, factor in the price of hub rings. Discount Tire sells their wheels with plastic hub rings, but I am not a fan of those. Hubs get pretty hot the way I drive.

I'm also looking at some after market rims - trying to decide from:

Borbet BS5
Advanti Racing A4 Kudos
Avarus AV8

Probably sticking with the 18's because I only want to upgrade the aesthetics but not hurt ride quality.

I hadn't thought of that panyo64 (In fact I don't even know what it means?)
I guess a trip to Discount Tire retail store needs to be my first step.
thanks.

Try this company for your OEM chrome wheels. They are a chrome wheel exchange company. You can get the exact wheels you want, at a reasonable cost. I've used them several times. Their quality is excellent. Here's the website: www.oemrims.com/toyota_lexus.html

FYI - The bolt pattern is 5x114. Offset is 35mm. OEM wheel is 7.5" wide.
The bolt pattern determines if the wheel will fit or not.
The offset is how far the middle of the wheel is offset relative to the hub. The smaller the number, the closer to the middle the hub it will get, the farther apart will the wheels be, the more they will stand-out. Swaying away from this number will change the suspension geometry (bad!). The only reason to go to a smaller number is if the tires are too wide to fit. 255mm will fit just fine.

You can certainly get a wider rim. It would allow for less sidewall play. 8" is just dandy.

All of aftermarket wheels will come with plastic centering rights. They are only there so that the wheel can be mounted straight. After that, they do not do anything.

Would look so much better if they were 22's. Still looks good though.

It was a few years ago and it was for my wife's SC430. So the cost wouldn't be relevant to your situation. Also, I don't remember the cost, but it was much less than any other source I had researched. Give them a call. You can either do a wheel exchange or buy them outright.

FYI for all, this is what I received back from them:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/EXCHANGE-STO...item5aec7d1622

Basically $800 chrome exchange w/shipping + $125 return shipping + $800 deposit.

It's probably cheaper to find a local shop to do it.

Any other RX350's on Vossen wheels? Preferably with 22's?
