Default Noises coming from driver side cockpit... Advice please

Hello all Lexus Fellows:

I just purchased my Lexus RX one month ago, and I notice there is some electrical noises underneath the driverside cockpit area, this happens at random timing but mostly in the mornings and braking from time to time.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal? and should I bring it back to the dealer and have them inspect it thank you.

Garvinvr4, can you post a vid of it?
I would def bring it back to the dealer and have them look at it. I just brought mine and I dont hear any sound other then engine. Let us know what you find.

My 2012 does it to. An electrical slight buzzing, mostly when touching the break pedal.

I've taken the car back to the dealership and have them inspected.
I'll keep you update of what the verdict is.

Saw (heard) the video and doesn't sound normal. If you had the 450h, I'd almost say that's normal under certain braking conditions due to the regenerative braking, but not the 350.

Still no words on the buzzing noise, service representative did noticed there were noises
on test drive. They asked my permission to have the tech take the vehicle home over night to observe
the noise. More update to come.

OMG! My 2010 does the same thing! Its driving me crazy! Did you find out what it could be? At first i thought it was the windshield sort of rattling but now i don't know what it is.

just got a call from sewell lexus the service tech department said they can't duplicate the noises
after driving 150 miles on the vehicle. They said since they can't duplicate the noises therefore they can't fix
the problem. They have given me two options:

1) return there rental back and just pickup my car as is.
2) I drive with one of the tech wether if I can duplicate the same noises.

So what you guys think I should do from here?
I just purchased this 2010 RX350 on 11/28 with 3 years certify warrantee

I was thinking about giving them 2 options as well:
1) you keep my car till the problem is fixed.
2) I trade this car in w/o any losses towards the next vehicle.

Help please!!!!!

Currently at 27500 miles
Yes they did hear the clips, but they said the master tech. can't duplicate
the buzzing noise after driving for 200 miles. They would like me to drive the
vehicle and have the tech. next to me so I can duplicate the noise.
I can already foreseen this is going to be back and forward game visiting
the service dept. And they said I would have to take a huge lose for trading back in.

Wow I missed the 2 posters up top. It seems they both have this 'buzzing noise". Mine is currently at 29K. I drove it to and back NYC this weekend and didnt hear this. Makes me wonder if its something electrical or like the sound of the heater? LOL.

I hope it works out for you at the end.

Random, intermittent noises are very hard to fix. It sounds like the dealership is doing a good job of trying to help you. Don't take an adversarial position. If they can't hear the noise, how are they supposed to fix it? I suggest you take the tech for a ride to try to duplicate the noise. You'll have to be patient and persistent to get this taken care of. It would be an easy fix if it happened all the time. Good luck.
