As for the tow hitch, see thread below instead of continuing in this one, but to get your started (or ended ), you will have to remove the rear lateral performance damper for the OEM tow hitch, or seek an aftermarket alternative. Good luck!

Good to hear. I have nearly as much fun with the RX as I do with the IS, so whoever is skeptical about the F-Sport, well, have them try one!

Thought id post a 'Before' and 'After' Window Tint photo.
I would have liked to have gone darker and matched the Back windows (30%) but 15% (Front) is the legal limit here in FL.

^thanks!
So, we had a CPO '13 450h w/f sport appearances for about a week, needless to say this is replacing it. =) The driving experience > mpg. Lol.
The RX vs 4runner

Hi Guys,
I'm in the market looking for 2014-15 RX and I noticed the F-Sport edition. The Lexus website doesn't really list the difference between the two (maybe I'm not looking in the right page) vehicle. Can you tell me the difference between the two besides wheels, that's all I know at the moment.
BTW, can you guys tell me what you paid out the door for your F-Sport. I'm going to a Lexus dealer this weekend and want to be prepared (really don't like the haggling with the salesman). I just want to go down there and just give them my offer. So I would like to know what would be the good price range I'll be paying for a F-Sport. I live in New England (Boston)area. Are they offering any incentives at the moment.?
Thanks in advance for you help and inputs.
Nick

Here's what's different on the F-Sport you get as standard equipment:
- Standard AWD
- VDIM (Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management)
- F-Sport suspension (Shocks and springs) and unique lateral performance dampers
- Perforated leather seats and black headliner
- Premium 12-speaker sound system
- 8-Speed transmission with Paddle Shifters
- F-Sport bumper and emblems
- F-Sport leather wrapped steering wheel
- F-Sport dark graphite 19" wheels
- Heated and ventilated seats
- Power folding electrochromic outside mirrors
- Power-tilt moonroof
- 1 mpg combined better fuel economy than the RX350 AWD
The F-sport rides firmer, but is also more fun to drive thanks to near-flat cornering and 8-speed auto with paddle shifters. If you don't care for any "driving fun" but care for a softer, more luxurious ride, an alternative is a regular RX350 with the Sport Appearance Package (adds $1100) which almost looks the same on the outside as the F-Sport. You'll also want to try to avoid the Dunlop Grandtrek tires as they're the noisiest and harshest among the ones offered (Michelins or Bridgestones). Test drive both RXs to be sure and pay attention to the tires and tire pressure since often times the dealers overinflate the tires to 36-38 psi versus 32-33.
Good luck and keep us posted!

Nick, thanks for your interest in the F-Sport. I can't speak to incentives, but from what I've seen posted on the RX in general, expect about 3-4K rebate on a 2014 if still available, and about 2-3K or so on an in stock 2015. If you have to special order it, they will give you a harder time on rebates since they want to clear out existing inventory.

I'll make a thread about it and keep u posted.
Here are updates on my 2011 450h. I thought I could make my 2011 Ballasts work on the 2014 housing but it's a tight fit and i don't want things to leak. So I need to order 2014 Ballasts. Also, since 2014s don't have AFS... i have a nasty "CHECK AFS SYSTEM" message in the center LCD. I'm looking at wiring diagrams on how to trick the ECU to thinking it's there somehow. Ran out of time so it's currently done and put together but HIDs aren't hooked up and AFS message is on:
I'll post up a thread on my adventures in doing the front conversion and how much everything costs! Still thinking about getting the RX-Fsport wheels. someone local has a deal that I keep thinking about, so I'll see if the wife wants it enough.
