Just traded my 2008 for a 2015 Fsport, white, BMS, parking assist, navigation. Doesn't ride as nice as the LS but it is more fun to drive. Will work out better in the NC mountains and snow.
Does anyone know if the F-Sports comes with the towing prep or do they just have the oil/trans cooler installed? I just bought one last week, new 2015, and want to add a hitch. It looks like it has a cooler in front of the drivers front wheel, with vents in the wheel well and vents below the fog light.
Just bought my first Lexus, 2015 F Sport, Silver, had it shipped from Cali to Texas.

Wife is happy with vehicle, both of us in mid- late 40's.
My 2015 F-Sport doesn't have the towing pkge, I need tow a motorcycle trailer. There is a cooler in front of the drivers side wheel with vents in the wheel well and in the front below the fog lights, is this standard on the F-Sport?
Also, I looked underneath behind the drivers side rear wheel and there is a wire connection there that is capped, I bought the Curt hitch and wiring connector listed on the forum .
The only thing I don't know about is if the converter is there in the rear of the passengers side, I'll need to take the inside out to have a look. Would I need the converter if I changed the lights on my motorcycle trailer to LED's, lower voltage shouldn't need the converter?!?!?!

Well I tore apart the rear compartment on the passenger side and the converter is there and plugged in. So I'll attempt the install this weekend.
BTW, my salesman tells me all new F-Sports come with the tow prep pkge, service and parts dept says no, that only the trans cooler is standard for the 8spd trans.
Well the towing pkge is standard on the F-Sport, I installed the hitch and the electrics work fine.

Good evening everyone! I'm a little tardy to the party but so, so glad to be here. My new-to-me '13 F-Sport has been a joy to drive. Lurking around this forum has definitely given me a lot of great info on this vehicle in advance of my purchase.

Thanks. I didn't get to drive in the bad northeast storm from about 3 weeks ago but the resulting slush and rainy days we've had have given this RX the chance to shine and fly by the other FWD cars slipping around. And I can't figure out the complaints of the stiff suspension in the F-Sport. This RX is much softer than the Acura TL Type S I replaced it with and handles pretty good for a vehicle of this weight.
Bought a 2013 450h F-sport, and picked it up last Thursday. As we also have a 400h, we call the "new guy" Junior...
Added wind deflectors and a towing hitch.
It also have navigation, Mark Levinson and, most importantly(for me), adaptive cruise control.
I've been registered to this forum since 2009, but all login info has been forgotten.
