you can make the cars Safer and Smarter..
but for most drivers, it's a hopeless case.

this video points out one of my pet peeve..
a double line or a single continuous line MEANS you cannot pass
although i see a lot of LA drivers passing over other cars

This is especially scary when we are in the Car pool lane,
and instead of waiting for a car pool lane opening ( broken lines) some drivers will just move infront of you coming from the right..

i always give them a long HORN..

Mark, full, wholehearted agreement with you. We didn't see what happened to the oncoming car, but it could have easily ended up going in to that market or gas station forced off the road by the old guy.

The driver of the RX is 81 and he is accusing Lexus for no air bag deploded after broke 3 ribs in that accident. I guess he just completely forgot about his life was saved by a very well built age vehicle.

This kind of scene happens pretty much anywhere and anytime in Taiwan or most of the other Asian countries.

and we, here in North America have our share of people going IN on a ONE WAY freeway ramp causing loss of life and property.
there's too many too mention, just use google and you'll see a lot of These.

bottomline is, in addition to making any car Safer, there should be a yearly driver's Ed/ refresher course that you can take at home before you renew your registration.
Since we can "renew" online anyway, why not add a 10-15 minute slide show about seatbelt law, handheld cellphone use, etc etc
