Cambridge began building all types of RX350"s including the fully loaded ultra prem with every option in 2012 (including Levinson, HUD and VDIM) and continue to do so for 2013. My 2010 was made in Japan, the metal on the rear doors flexed when i closed them--it just did not seem as well put together as my Canadian-built 2009 (which I still own). As well the 2010 arrived with those horrid, noisy, rough Dunflop tires. My 2013 Ultra Premium is being sourced from Cambridge. I have toured that plant -amazing to see, clean and very much concerned about quality...paint shop of course, was out of bounds for fear of contaminents. Lexus is so concerned about quality in Cambridge that visitors are sent a list of items ahead of time that they may wear and what they may not wear while on that tour.

My 2013 RX350 is made in Canada. I am proud of owning it knowing that it is made here with the same level of QC that Lexus Japan is known for. Manufacturers don't have different QC/manufacturing standards for different countries where their products are built, do they? Common sense dictates that if they care about their product, competitiveness, and reputation, they will maintain the same level of standards regardless of where the products are made and assembled.

I just got a similar deal on my lease. I think that lease sounds good. I freaking love the new rx350. I have been trying to talk the wife into one for a while. I finally did. it has most options. not the comfort package though. that would have been nice. It was about 49, 500 msrp and we got it for $3000 @ signing and 508/month. I like it so much I'm thinking about trading in my ISF for the 2013 GS350H or maybe another ISF. The new app suite is freaking legit. Using the nav while driving is so much nicer with "edestination" and Lexus enform. We really like the ease of use with Bing search POI's WHILE MOVING! And the coolest I think is the ability to search on ur computer phone and send it to your car.. I made several different folders like restaurant's, shopping, coffee shops etc and sent 200 poi's to car and now they are there even if my phone isn't connected. so it's essentially extending my 5 favorites to 205. We couldn't believe how great all those features were on our roadtrip back from the dealer in Savannah to Florida. I can honestly say I enjoyed the 7.5 hour trip. More than once the car warned us of lane closures ahead and significant weather near our route. I just wish my 2008 ISF had that ability.

Glad to hear you like it so much. The golden opp lease was pretty decent. Our IS has been flawless, it's been a great little car. We are also now looking at the new for '13 GLK as the improvements for 13 are spot on.
