Default Any way to get video to the NAV screen?

As one of the winners of the BeatSonic NT4618 device (from their contest) I now have a question. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...iveaway-3.html

The bypass device comes in two pieces, 1 part is the NAV control bypass (allow use of the NAV while in motion) and the 2nd part is the DVD Control bypass (allow use of watching video on the NAV screen while in motion). This brings me to my question... I do not have the back seat entertainment system, so is there a way to get a video line in to the NAV screen? Does the back of the unit have a line in port of some type?

Thanks all...

Wouldnt the DVD over ride be for watching videos on the front screen?

If you have the Mark Levinson you can play DVDs in the front when the car is stopped. And parking brake is applied.

Correct, thus my question... How can I get a line to the front screen without RES and without a DVD player in the head unit (i.e. no ML)?

I have the Rear Enetertainment System. And the video played in the back doesnt play in the front.

Your question might get a better response in the Electronics section of Club Lexus.

Or better yet. Email the guys at Beatsonic and ask them.

I have the RES and the Mark Levinson. I can play video in the front if the car is in park. I then put in the Prestigious Society override in and it allows me to play DVD in the front and the RES while moving without any issues at all.

You need to have the ability to play DVD's. It is my understanding that only the ML will let you do that. If you have that then you can use the override to play on the Nav screen. I had Top gear on for 3 episodes as I drove the 300 miles to a hockey tournament in January.

I can confirm that you do not need the Mark Levinson in order to watch DVDs in the front NAV screen. I was fearful that I wouldn't be able to do that even though my 2010 RX350 (recently purchased used) with the RES did not come equipped with ML speakers. I put the car in park and applied the parking brake and was HAPPY AS ALL HECK to see that video could indeed by played on the NAV screen! So now all I have to do is get the override...still trying to decide between the BeatSonic or the Prestigious Society. Weighing pro and cons of both. The BS is cheaper and I can't really find a real advantage over the PS in terms of functionality...both are plug and play as well.
