Default Just picked up 2013 RX350

I just picked up my 2013 Deep Sea Mica Rx350 with comfort pkg, navigation and premium pkg. I am new to Lexus and love the car! My only regret is that I should have opted for the 19" 15 spoke rims. Great forum, have learned much about my car.

Congrats, and I know we'd all love a picture of that new color when you get the chance!

Enjoy in the best of health...and welcome!!!...19 inches...well maybe you did the right thing, from what I read the 19 inch rims and ires give a harsher ride not as smooth as the regular wheels and tires (I forgot the measurements)

Way to Go That Deep Sea Mica would be my color too (although it doesn't have quite as much 'sparkle' as I'd like). However, then I saw a '13 GS350 in Meteor Blue Mica and I fell in love! Too bad I need an RX.
Outside, the new grill has kind of grown on me and now the parking sensors are properly placed. Inside, the new nav screen is much more vivid and even though I thought the original mouse controller was the coolest thing, this new one is even better. I was surprised/disappointed to learn that the CD player is a single not a 6 disc changer. All in all though, it's a sweet car. Maybe they'll offer it in Meteor Blue Mica next year

I like that color also; I thought I wouldn't like the single cd, but really don't play cd's much; I listen to XM Radio mostly. Most people plug in their ipods.....guess my 8 tracks are useless..lol

Unfortunately, it's always been the luck of the draw what brand tires one gets... I love my michelins as well, but bet I'll end up with dunlops onmy new RXh when it arrives... Most have been coming that way it seems. Check out some other threads here on the forum... Some believe the dunlops are a bit loud. Some are playing with tire pressure to help on what they believe is a harsher ride with their 19", while others are replacing them with perelli scorpion, and others seem to be ok with the dunlops.

on my 2013 RX350 there is a sticker on the door frame saying "this vehicle now has 11 pounds less hauling capacity"; a yellow sticker. I believe they modified the springs to counter the 19's I got on mine; it rides great to me!!! Also my salesman said that in spit of the warning that the 19's have Premium tires and may only get 15,000 miles on them....he said the Michelins have gone over 20,000 for people that don't drive them hard. He has been selling Lexus since its beginnings!!!

Interesting new tidbit on the yellow sticker and less hauling capacity ..

Agree with you on longevity of Michelins... My present set on my RX400h just went over 25K and they have at least another 10-15K left on them.
