on my 2013 RX350 there is a sticker on the door frame saying "this vehicle now has 11 pounds less hauling capacity"; a yellow sticker. I believe they modified the springs to counter the 19's I got on mine; it rides great to me!!! Also my salesman said that in spit of the warning that the 19's have Premium tires and may only get 15,000 miles on them....he said the Michelins have gone over 20,000 for people that don't drive them hard. He has been selling Lexus since its beginnings!!!
Mine has the 19's and I wish I had the 18's. If I ever find anybody in the Southeast willing to trade, I would be eager to trade mine for the 18s.
Why is that? My dealer vehicle lists 19" in the original manufacture specs but when I purchased it as a dealer vehicle with 6K miles, it came with 18" michelin's. I also have the sticker about reduced load. I thought the dealer put it on since he switched 19's to 18's.
Yes, I have the yellow sticker reducing overall car carrying load by 11 lbs, located on the driver side door frame. Mine is a Feb. 2012 build. If they modified the spring rates to soften the ride, to me the ride is still somewhat stiff. Perhaps further mileage beyond the current 1085 will further break in the suspension and soften it a tad. I've changed out the tires to 19 inch Pirelli Scorpion Verde's and reduced tire pressure from 36 to 33, both of which have helped.
