This is a new one, right? Personally I would have trouble staying within the 12,000 miles per year. That can get expensive. I wasn't sure I could even stay within the 15,000 mi/yr max lease that Lexus offers. So I bought my 2011 CPO.

It will be close on mileage, which I am not comfortable with as the risk is $250 per thousand miles. That being said I usually get talked into breaking the lease early like I will this one.

^Out of topic but can you do any mods to the car during the lease and take the mods off when returning the car?

I just leased my 2012 rx list 49,360, 15000 miles a year for $583/month nothing down except typical taxes, title, fees etc..which I assume you are paying too. If not 595 sounds like a great deal or I overpaid

if you are paying those fees up front like I did you may be able to do a little better since I have an extra 3000 miles/year. Granted your list price is $240 higher you should still be able to get the payment down a little..I'm not sure what going from 12k to 15k does to the lease but if you can find out that may be the difference what you are looking for in terms of a lower payment..

My 2 cents

im a little confused with this statement, there's a lease deposit and nothing down?

so how much did you actually pay before delivery? including title, registration, etc and the 1st month payment?

so you put down $5,200 which they hold until you turn your lease back in?!? What stipulations are on that where they would not give it back? Sounds crazy if I'm understanding it right.

thanks for the clarification..
i do both, buy and lease.. ...OR lease THEN buy what i have leased.

here's the Million dollar question..
how much is the residual value stated on your lease after 36 months?

i was never introduced this option..is it exclusive to your state?

Normally...based on how i have done it is like this
for an RX 350, regardless of package, there's a down payment of $3,499 which will cover
the registration, fees, more fees and 1st month lease.
then i normally pay in the range of $480-$590 ( Depending on package) for the next 35 months.

and to answer my own question:
a $49,000 RX 350 will have a residual value close to $26,000
