Well Christmas came early....
Well as of 4pm last night I am the proud owner of a 2012 Rx450H in Starlight Black Mica with the Ultra Premium II package. I have all the options as I plan to keep this for quite a few years and have gone through the 'option envy" in the past.
I immediately drove this fine machine home and proptly started taking it apart. By 9pm I had swapped out all the interior bulbs with LED'S which make a huge difference and I like the white light. I also put in 5000K LED fog light bulbs in so they match the whiteness of the headlights. For my DRL and Highbeams I installed a set of PIAA Extreme White Plus bulbs which make a much brighter/whiter beam.
I also replaced the puddle lights with LED's (very simple, took 20 min) as well as put in CREE reverse LED bulbs in that make the backup camera just pop when you shift into reverse. Huge difference and I highly recomend this for everyone.
It goes in on Monday to have paint protection put on the whole hood, bumper and quarters. Then the SmartStart gets put in on the 16th.
Wonder what I will do next week? LOL.

Here are some pictures of the lighting that was done.
I posted a before and after picture of the Cree Reverse Lights, LED's in the cargo area. There is also a picture of the Factory Lexus Hitch. This is way nicer than the ones that I have seen put on aftermarket. The reflection is rediculous from the bumper.

Thats what happens when you read for 6 months before you factory order one and wait 2 months for delivery. You have time to collect all the parts, read all the how to's, hear about others mistakes and conquests. Then when it gets here, you just get at it because waiting for later just delays the gratification even more.
Now I am going to drive it and figure out all the different things that it will do.

WOW! Congrats on an awesome car! I am extremely envious of all the light changes you did. That is such a good way to go.
I also just got a new RX 350 but I am hesitant to do much but drive and listen to Satellite Radio! I had forgotten how much I like SAT when I had it 5 years ago.
