How did everyone on the East Coast make out with the storm this weekend?

Just fine. Power stayed on. A few larger branches and lots of little ones fell all over the yard. I think the winds after Irene passed is worse, especially after we had almost 10" of rain. I'm glad it's over. Hope everyone's ok.

No damage here. Went a little over 8 hours with no electricity.

Before retiring I ran Operations and Planning for a major PA/NJ utility. Keep those people that are working out there to restore power, in your prayers. Many won't be going home again for 7-10 days. I don't miss the work but I hold those people in the highest regard!!!

We made out okay in my neighborhood. We have power at our house but half the neighborhood hasn't had power since midnight of last night. They also decided to close school tomorrow. The first day of school will be Tuesday.

Wow, you were lucky there sweet. I guess I won't complain when I pick up all the small branches in my yard. On the bright side, less leaves to worry about and you will have plenty of firewood for the winter

I thought I saw a video like that tree falling on the tv, only it took a fence with it also.
