ecub, they came as a set. The top picture in my first post is the front, the second is the rear. I'm not sure if they can ordered separately.

Thanks. I rather order them as a set. Although pricey, they are a little more worth it as a set, rather than individually.

kitlz, do you have any mounted pics of your license plate frame? you can use MS photo editor to remove your plate number if you are concerned about privacy....

It is a frame that mounts to the bumper so it doubles as a mounting bracket. Besides the screws that came with it, there is double stick tape in spots on the back. It's only slightly larger than normal frames, less than an inch

I'm not a fan of the 3/4 mounting bracket up front that leaves the license plate hanging on the bottom. The new frame will eliminate that.

Storm, I'll try to test the new frames on the car, maybe do a side-by-side comparison. I'm too scared to drill the holes yet, LOL. Plus I want to wash/wax underneath before installation.

Here is a comparison of the current frames (Prestige in chrome) against the new Lexus frames. More pictures coming up.

Current frames and the new frames on the RX. I couldn't take a straight on shot of the new frame on the front because I couldn't securely put it on the bumper and didn't want it to fall off. The rear frame will be installed a little higher up. It's being held up by screws in the picture.

Wow, the original chrome frames look heavy. I wouldn't want to be near if when one gets loose and falls off at full speed. New frames are cool. The front one should be standard. The rear one is a bit too big for me, and somehow makes the rear more busier. Nice find!

They look real nice Anita. Big improvement on the front. Almost makes me want to run out and get a front plate, almost.
