2011 RX450 ML system
I have just received my new Blue 2011 RX450. I ordered about every option except towing.
LED headlamps seem as bright as MY HID lights on my 06 RX400.
So far pretty impressed.
I am disappointed in the Mark levinson Audio. I ordered this with factory res system. The don't think sub woofer level is adjustable, just one bass control. I think my wife's Camry has more bass then my ML. Any way to increase the sub level?
I play the radio low, could use a loudness control like the old stereo days.
I would have thought they would put more sensors in the front for parking assist. I have the camera in the rear to see how close I am to another vehicle, the front sensors don't seem to help much when trying to judge how close you are the car in front of you.
Any thoughts on the parking assist?

So the 2011 450h does have the LED lights? When I went to build one on the website for the Tampa Bay area zip code, it appeared to offer only the HID lights as an option.

EMS, LED requires the Luxury package which is pretty rare. So there are only a handful out there, or you have to special order.
as for the parking assist, Lexus cheaped out and only put 2 sensors in the front near the corners. Of course, the idea is that you technically dont need the front ones as you can clearly judge what is in front of you. But I wish they were there too

No, I don't play soccer!
jerryray, ML is fine but certainly can be better. My installer has a few things in mind to get it where it should be - new amp, subwoofers and something similar to JL's clean sweep. But I'm not ready to go there again.
Can't comment on park assist. I passed on that, didn't want the sensors all over the bumper. Dealer can install them for me if I change my mind. Doubt I will.
Enjoy your 450h!

I have the ML on my RX. I did some sound deadening in the rear cargo area and that took the bass up a couple notches. Much cleaner sounding and on some songs it rivals the low riders.
I actually pulled the Sub woofer and placed the deadening material behind and below the sub. Not to difficult to do, just time consuming. Any of the foil backed product are good, I used Mega Mat by Fat Mat. The butyl products are better as they don't have the tar smell.
Love the head up display too.

The sub is in the back cargo area on the drivers side. It actually has a plastic 'L' shaped housing that carries the bass to left of the spare tire. You need to remove all the trim around the spare tire to see it, plus the side panels in the cargo area.
The amp sets forward of the spare somewhat under the passenger rear seat.

I don't see the amp at all. There is a plastic cover which now houses the 12v Battery.
This the 2011 RX450. I think I am going to use my old amp/sub. Since the 12v battery is there I just need to find the where the wires go the the sub.

Enjoy your new car we turn off the PA when we go through the drive up at the bank or for food but it works great when parking it in the garage and backing out with a wall behind on the side of the driveway. Just now have 3k miles on it and the mpg have move up from 26 to 31 a tank
