Default 350 grill vs 450h grill

I keep hearing that the grills are different but is the only difference being the 450h grille has more of the "vertical bars"?

450h grille is smaller too. We have the extra opening underneath it.

cool, never noticed that, so the 450h grill is "shorter"? Are both grills made of metal?

The vertical gills in the 450h grill curve in and out as well. The front ends of the 350 and 450 are definitely different beyond just the extra slit in the bumper on the 450h.

ziggy, I haven't measured them but I had a discussion with the detailer at the dealer who installs horizontal grilles over the OE. I think we counted the number of slits. I can't remember exactly how many each had - mine has 30, the 350 somewhere in the low 20s (?). But the most important thing I got out of it was the 350 grille wouldn't fit on the 450h.

The grille feels and looks like metal. I haven't looked at the back to see if it's real. Will check later.

the 350 grille is plastic and i'm pretty sure the 450 is also. the grill is actually 2 pieces held together by pressure clips and screws.
