Default Used RX350?

There seems to be an lot of used RX350s for sale.

I'm looking for a used one for my wife, she thinks she has to have one.

Is there something I need to know before I buy, or is there something wrong with this model?

Tell me what is going on. RX2010 model

I went to Build A Lexus for an RX350 base model and the MSRP was $38,850
including freight and handling.
Sent this to the Lexus dealer and it came back with a price of around $40,000.
Made an offer of $35,500.
Dealer came back saying his cost was more than my offer.

Truecar.com had a dealer cost of $32,672, average paid for this base model was $35,362, sticker price $38,500, factory invoice $35,424.

Are dealers a little sneaky or don't they want you to have this info?

Remember all I wanted was the base model.

Default Rebate

Another question:

Is there a sale or rebate on the 2010 RX350?

Like $2000.

^^^ there is a 2K manufacturer to dealer support on remaining 2010 models. you should be able to get 2K under invoice easily.

I, too, thought I wanted a used 2010 model, but after investigating prices found it would be foolish to buy a used one when I could get a new one for very little more. This is probably due to the $2k rebate to dealers. You probably won't find a new 10 with no options in stock anywhere. My new 10 had a msrp for $43,899 and I got it for $38,500( this is close to price of used ones). I could have gotten it a little cheaper but that was my first offer and the dealer accepted. Now is the time to find that 10 model before the $2k thing ends.

If you get one with no options it will kill you when trade or sell it.

I didn't know you could get one with NO options. That would mean it has fabric seats.

The Austin dealer had a couple with no options. He offered them to me for $37,900 (sticker just over $43,500). I too chose the one with the options for just over $2,500 more. Well worth it for me but the plain one did have the leather seats. From what I here it is extremely hard to find one with fabric.

Anyone try getting a 2010 with options and got the car close to an invoice price? I was thinking of getting a used one. If the new one cost it very close to an old one, why not get a new one.

You should get it for around $2,000 below invoice if Lexus is still offering the "dealer cash". I just got mine for 2,150 below invoice. Some on here got it even better. It all depends on the availability in your area and the demand.

I got the exact thing I wanted at a price that was better than most I had heard about. Couple that with the fact that there weren't too many black on black '10 left I took it.

with fabric would thing you have to or order that from the factory. No dealer would want that car on his lot.
