Modifications?
Who has done aftermarket modifications to their 2010 RX350? What can be done to increase performance on these fine vehicles?
I'm thinking about K&N high performance fuel injection intake kit, not just the filter element, do they have the complete kit that replaces stock baffle box?
What about PCM (powertrain control module) tune to quicken throttle response and raise shift points?
What octane (considering the price of gas, and minimum $0.10 per gallon to choose next higher octane) do you use? In IL we have 87, 89, and 91. In some states I see 92 or even 93.
Any other mods that have made driving more fun?

potential
does anyone have the opinion that this is a fine vehicle with some potential?
does anybody think an intake kit and PCM re-tune would help?
has anybody done any mods?

i agree this is the wrong car to mod. i had an infiniti fx that was much sportier to begin with and had a bunch of aftermarket products. i think an intake would take away from the quiet luxury of the car and any pcm or emgine management retune would take away from the smoothness of the car.
this is my opinion. i get my speed fix from my bike.

The only add-on parts that will likely be available for the RX are intake and exhaust. And then the selection will be sparse.
Also on the PCM re-tune, Late model Lexus and Toyota ECU's are notoriously difficult to crack and not worth the significant R&D time for aftermarket vendors.
Sorry, but if you wanted a mod friendly car the RX is not it.
