2011 rx
I was talking to someone from LFS and they said the new 2011 RXs are scheduled to be in stock at dealerships on 9/23 . Anyone know if that is true? Also, how much different will the 2011 RXs be than the previous model? I currently have the 2008 RX350.

Uconn, major changes from one generation to another are very costly. To recoup these costs, manufacturers need at least three years, and that's assuming the style sells well. Considering that the RX, like the ES are Lexus's biggest money spinners, the exterior won't change for at least five years, imho and the only mods would be cosmetic. So if you're waiting for significant modifications, you'll be doing so for a long time. Besides, first years are fraught with discrepancies, so now is the best time to make your move...
Don't put too much faith in what sales guys spew out. They're unreliable rumour pits...

Most likely, the changes will be in regards to complaints. Perhaps they will finally light up the homelink buttons.
Does anyone know when you can start ordering one?

No, I don't play soccer!
RXSF, missing out on bluetooth was a bummer. But it works well on the 450h and there's lots of new toys to play with Hopefully Lexus will address the little glitches for 2011 and I can make the changes to mine.

Minor model changes don't occur till halfway through the life cycle. It is there you will see cosmetic changes . But there are changes from year to year. Most changes in parts are to correct quality and reliability issues from the previous year. Most of these changes will go unnoticed by us. Other changes are to add new features. Manufacturers make is a big deal a change over that 2010 specific parts that are going away do not get put on the 2011 models.

My mom had a 2010 RX loaner when her 2nd gen ('05) was in for service... I have 3 words... best, RX, ever
Everything about this car was awesome... You can set the personalized settings from the Nav now, The remote touch, auto High beams, and you can even turn DRLs off from the headlight stalk... handling is awesome and it drives silky smooth
It feels much more luxurious than the previous gen.... and I have to say, Matador Red suits the RX very well
