RAIN-X works great, but you can get the same effect if not better by simply waxing your windshield just as you would your car. A LOT cheaper than RainX and you get a TON more. You need to reapply quite often usually around 1 month for it to keep it's effectiveness. You should never need to turn your wipers on.

I used to use RainX until i tried Stoners glass care. They have a rain repellant one that works great and if you clean the windows properly with this stuff its like the glass is not even there.

you can buy rainx brand wiper fluid that includes the rainx product in the fluid

it's not quite a potent as applying pure rainx

i only apply it to windshield

used to wax my windshield in high school which gave the same results

if you end up trying rainx, after you apply it rinse the windshield with water & wipe it off or you'll probably notice streaks next time you're in the sunshine
